Orlando Magic Vs. Chicago Bulls

I am ashamed to say I missed the game between the Chicago Bulls and the Orlando Magic last night and was completely surprised this morning. No, not because Magic won the 107-78 game but because of Jameer Nelson and I doubt I was the only one.

Where did that come from boy? He scored more points and assists than Dwight Howard and Vince Carter both in the game on December 1st. He was put in the game for thirty-five minutes and he hustled with 24points, 9 assists, and 4rebounds. His average for the season has been about 14PPG, 3RPG, and 7APG so you can see why I am surprised. Dwight Howard on the other hand has an average of 21PPG, 12RPG, and 1APG. He scored a disappointing 13 points in the game against the Bulls and 0 assists in the thirty-four minutes he was in.

Now there's probably a lot of Dwight Howard fans out there getting pretty huffy right now and to them I say, 'relax. I'm a fan of Howard too so don't take it too personally when I see his off moments.' With that being said I think we should all be very thankful Nelson picked up the slack. Orlando held it's standing as #1 in the SE division with 14wins, 4 loses and a streak of 5wins. It's followed by Atlanta with 12wins, 7loses. The next Orlando Magic game is Friday, December 3 against the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have been having an off season thus far with 6 wins and 13 loses. I don't know about you but I'll be watching the game and keeping a close eye on our boy, Jameer Nelson. I hope he keeps this up.

Titans Vs. Jaguars

I know where I'm going to be on Dec 5th at 1PM. My booty will be planted on the couch, ignoring my growing pile of laundry and the voices in my head, as I settle in for the Titans vs Jaguars game. But hey, who can blame me? it's sure to be one hell of a game considering that the last time these two faced off in October Titans QB, Vince Young, injured his knee and now he's out for the rest of the season recovering from surgery on his thumb. Couldn't he have played with one hand? Well I hate to see him go on IR but maybe the new quarter back will bring them back from their four game losing streak. Kerry Collins was rumored to be replacing Young in the upcoming game but he just injured his calf recently and seeing as how he didn't participate in practice I'm guessing he's out. Someone needs to put these boys in a bubble!

Their next choice is Rusty Smith for starting QB. Putting a rookie in as starter is risky but he's obviously proven himself during practice and he's not injured(!) so maybe he'll surprise us.

That being said I'm guessing Jacksonville Jaguars will take home the win this time around. They lost their last game against the Giants but overall they've been having a pretty good season with six wins and five losses. Some people might mention their 3-30 loss to the Titans earlier on in the season and that is something to take into consideration but with the Titans losing streak and not only Young but Collins being injured who knows? The only way to truly know is to tune in I suppose.

Welcome!

I'm a twenty year old girl surviving one day at a time in the freezing arctic that is Colorado. That's all I'm going to share about myself because, well let's be honest, you don't really want to hear about my daily search for the car keys or my favorite color,(which is lime green so ha!) But you all came here for some sports talk right? Either that or you spelled sportschickchat with a z on mistake and came to my site on accident but I'd rather stay ignorant. So none of my friends like sports and in a truly ironic twist my boyfriend is probably the only man on earth that hates sports of every kind. So that's why I am here doing the only smart but truly sad thing I could think of; seek conversation via cyber space. That's right, Eric, you drove me to this! Just kidding(but not really) Love you honey!

There are some warnings I need to put on here before you start reading and or chatting about your favorite teams. First, you may witness a grown woman cry *cough cough* Payton Manning throwing the ball away with seconds left in the game against the Pats *cough cough* Second, you may have to be witness to my happy dance but I promise I will never ever sing. And last but certaintly not least, the site is extremely new still and with my full time job and my anniversary coming up soon it might not be updated for a few days. With that in mind please feel free to browse the site.
